NATIONAL SECURITY
UNTIL CHINA TAKES OVER SIBERIA โย On China-Russia border, new bonds are forged against US over Ukraine. Western governments have rallied to the cause of Ukraine, in Europe, and Taiwan, in Asia, calling them bastions of the โfreeโ world that must not fall. In China, these moves are seen as worrisome attempts to ramp up the Western sphere of influence on the doorsteps of Russia and China.
INTERESTING โย NATO ties to Finland and Sweden could aid US with useful tactics for the Pacific, naval experts say. If Sweden and Finland succeed in joining NATO, their addition could provide the fringe benefit of enhancing U.S. strategies and tactics against a rival far removed from Atlantic waters, according to analysts.
GOOD QUESTION โย What are we getting for record defense spending?ย Next year's national defense spending โ for the Defense Department, the Department of Energy [for nuclear weapons] and other security agencies โ may be tens of billions more than the $813 fiscal 2023 billion budget sought by President Biden and perhaps the only important legislation that will draw major bipartisan support in Congress.
HOMELAND SECURITY

Taiwan rebuffs Philippines complaint about S China Sea live fire drills. Taiwan on Wednesday rebuffed a complaint from the Philippines about live fire drills around a Taiwan-controlled island deep in the South China Sea, saying it had the right to do so and always gives issues a warning of its exercises.
RUSSIA THREAT
Russia-Ukraine war: List of key events, day 126. There is a real possibility Russia's missile that hit a crowded shopping center in Kremenchuk and killed at least 18 people was intended for a nearby target, the British defense ministry said. A referendum for the mostly occupied Donetsk region to be absorbed into Russia will be held on September 11, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol said.
CONSOLATION PRIZE โย Near Kherson, Ukrainians regain territory in major counteroffensive. With Moscow concentrating its efforts on taking territory in Ukraine's eastern Donbas region โ battering cities, towns and Kyiv's troops with a near-constant barrage of artillery fire โ Ukraine has been able to make steady gains in the south. Village by village, more of the strategically important Kherson region is returning to Ukrainian control โ another sign that Russia's forces might be overextended with a front line that stretches about 300 miles.
Veteran captured while fighting in Ukraine speaks to family. Family members of Alexander Drueke, one of two veterans captured while fighting in eastern Ukraine earlier this month who is being held by Russian-backed separatists, contacted his family via phone on Saturday, directly addressing his mother, Bunny Drueke, in the first alleged contact since videos and pictures of the two surfaced on Russian media over a week ago.
Turkey lifting objections to Sweden, Finland joining NATO. Russia's invasion of Ukraine prompted Sweden and Finland to abandon their long-held nonaligned status and apply to join NATO. But Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had blocked the move, insisting the Nordic pair change their stanceย on Kurdish rebel groups that Turkey considers terrorists.
IRAN THREAT
COVERT WAR โย Israel's spies have hit Iran hard. In Tehran, some big names paid the price. After a series of damaging failures, a senior Iranian intelligence official lost his job and aย Revolutionary Guards general was said to have been arrested.
INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
PUTIN'S AFRIKA CORPS โย Russia's Wagner Group in Mali spurs refugee spike in Mauritania. Malians are fleeing to nearby Mauritania to escape from bandits, fighters,ย theย army and now Russian operatives.
PRICE OF MARXIST REVOLUTION โย Colombia Truth Commission presents final report on civil conflict. Colombia's Truth Commission has presented its final report on the country's long-running civil conflict, announcing that at least 450,664 peopleย were killed over nearly six decades of fighting.
US MILITARY AND SPACE
On the move: The Marines are retooling for war in the Indo-Pacific. The U.S. Marine Corps has divested a great deal of equipment that is not optimized for a fight in the littoral regions of the Asia-Pacific region
BAD IDEA โ YOU FIGHT LIKE YOU TRAIN โย National Guardsmen may soon use personal electronics in deployments.ย National Guardsmen may soon be able to use their personal electronic devices for official functions duringย domestic deployments to help fill a resources gap and reduce mobilization time, according to the service's chief information officer.

I just read that the fool, Biden, is sending 100K troops to EUROPE! That’s 100K less that we will have on hand for when (not if but when) China rises up to fight.
Better amp up Marines for Chinese combat
Examine Korean War archieves
Your headline read: Marines Ramp up for China Fight. I wanted to read that article. I thought it would be easily visible if I scrolled down.
No! So where is it? I never found it. I don’t have all day to be diverted to other stories that you try to get me to read. I get so many emails every day from conservative sources like yours.
I plan to unsubscribe if I keep having this type of frustrating experience.
We don’t have enough Marines to fight China. If you want more men to enlist, don’t try to use the Lie-beral bullshit on them; ‘diversity’ and pronouns and how to tip-toe around homos, etc, etc. I believe that Obomma got rid of the good generals; there is no military leadership to speak of. China has the shear numbers…as it is, we are no match. China will win because WE DON’T HAVE COMMITMENT…just like Vietnam.
