Hurricane Ian left a trail of destruction across the Florida peninsula in its wake, with the Fort Meyers-Naples area particularly hard hit.
Ian made landfall as a high-end Category 4, making it one of the strongest storms to hit the U.S. mainland โ with 150+ mph winds and deadly storm surge.
Millions were plunged into darkness.
Hundreds are feared dead, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office (which includes the cities of Fort Meyers, Fort Meyers Beach and Cape Coral).
Per Fox News:
The sheriff of Lee County, Florida, told โGood Morning Americaโ on Thursday morning that deaths from the storm in the area were in the hundreds.
โWe have fatalities in the hundreds,โ Sheriff Carmine Marceno said, although noting he couldn't confirm specific numbers.

More BS from Cantore.
There will always be people that opt to ride out the storm. I’ve ridden out several. Carla, Alicia and many more, but one must be smart and use their heads if they intend to survive. Mother Nature does not apologize STUPIDITY.
It’s my understanding that as of 12:00 noon, 09/29/2022, there has only been reported (1) death in Florida.
A Democrat Sheriff, in one of the counties claims there have been hundreds of deaths.
He’s clearly an Operative of The Democrat Communist Criminal Terrorist Organization.
Right, Which is it? HUNDREDS or only ONE? Surely tomorrow will tell. Or is this a demonstration of Common Core Math?
