Georgia Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock is facing legal troubles on all fronts as his ex-wife now seeks a court to compel Warnock to face questioning over child custody.
According to The Washington Free Beacon, Oulรจye Ndoye, the former wife of Warnock, accused the Senator of neglecting to see his children during his custody days and leaving her financially strapped with unpaid childcare expenses.
The deposition will allow Ndoye's lawyers to grill Warnock about these issues under oath in a closed-door deposition, information that could be used as part of a settlement or if the case goes to trial. Ndoye's lawyers notified Warnock that they plan to question him on Jan. 18, 2023โjust days after the Senate is scheduled to open for the next session.
Ndoye in February took Warnock to court to revise their custody agreement, asking to move their two young children to Massachusetts while she attends a program at Harvard and for more financial support from Warnock. The couple split in 2020 after four years of marriage.

Ndoye argued in her initial filing that Warnock's income โsubstantially increasedโ since he joined the Senate but has โrefused to reimburse [her] for child care expenses for the childrenโ and โleft [her] financially strapped.โ She also claimed Warnock left their two children with โvarious babysitters overnightโ while they were supposed to be under his care.
After reviewing Sen. Warnock's financial disclosure records The Free Beacon agreed with Ndoye's claims about Warnock's finances. Since joining the Senate in 2021 Warnock's earningsย more than doubled, mostly due to payments from outside employers and book deals.
Warnock also receives a salary and a $7,417 monthly housing allowance from Ebenezer Baptist Church which is also facing the threat of a subpoena from the Georgia Secretary of State. (RELATED: Sen. Raphael Warnock's Church Facing Subpoena Threat)
Warnock's contentious divorce and custody fight have been major sticking for him throughout the election. Republican political attacks honed in on allegations of neglect and Republican challenger Herschel Walker ran ads featuring police footage of Ndoye accusing Warnock of hitting her with his Tesla, a claim the Democrat denied.
If Walker successfully unseats Warnock the Senate will be tied 50-50 with Vice President Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote.
The two candidates will face off in a Dec.6th runoff election after neither candidate crossed the 50 percent threshold required to win.

GA needs to get rid of him. He had way too much baggage. Custody battle, campaign money misuse, a record of abuse, Ga can do better.
Not only is Warnock a sleezeball, he’s an open Bernie Sander’s Communist.
If Warnock doesn’t take responsibility for his own expenses, how can we expect that he will be responsible with other people’s money?
Nobody cares about stuff like this. The GA voters are simply voting for R or D.
It would appear a lot of them don’t care about the issues either. They are called low-information voters. R or D, they are the biggest threat of all to the Republic.
