Congressman Richard Hudson of North Carolina's 9th Congressional District has introduced a national Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, now known as HR 38.
Per a media release issued by the Congressman's office today, โH.R. 38 would allow people with state-issued concealed carry licenses or permits to conceal a handgun in any other state, as long as the permit holder follows the laws of that state. It also allows residents of Constitutional carry states the ability to carry in other states.โ
The legislation โ introduced today for the 118th Congress โ is bipartisan and already has 118 original cosponsors. The bill's Democrat cosponsor is Congressman Jared Golden of Maine's Second Congressional District.
Jason Ouimet โ Executive Director of the Institute of Legislative Action at the National Rifle Association (NRA-ILA) โ shared that โCongress should now affirm that the right to self-defense does not stop at a state lineโ via a statement posted by the NRA on Twitter.
The NRA is not the only gun rights group backing H.R. 38.
Tim Schmidt โ President and Founder of the U.S. Concealed Carry Association โ also celebrated Hudson introducing the legislation today:
โWe applaud Congressman Hudson for continuing to stand up for the rights of law-abiding gun owners. This long-overdue legislation would represent a step in the right direction towards modernizing America's concealed carry laws to ensure responsible gun owners can avoid danger and save lives. The USCCA remains committed to getting national concealed carry reciprocity signed into law.โ
Per the aforementioned release, the bill now awaits being assigned to a committee after being introduced.

Good for Hudson but he’ll more than likely get spanked by Pelousy for it.
I will believe it when it passes. Just wait to see what California has too say about this. The right to own and bear arms. If this happens their will be less crime on the streets. No body will know who is packing. lots of ladies have already purchased fire arms already in 2022 by a record amount.
BOBBY ~!~
