Maryland's former Republican Governor Larry Hogan has frequently been included in the growing list of 2024 presidential contenders in recent weeks, and he seemed to add fuel to that speculation during a Fox News appearance.
During an interview with Fox's Neil Cavuto, Hogan shared the following about his track record:
โWe've been really successful 30 miles outside of Washington where everything appears to be brokenโฆ I'm in one of the bluest states in the county with a 70% progressive legislature and I got them to cut taxes 8 years in a row by 4.8 billion and I had the biggest economic turnaround in America.โ
As a former two-term governor of a blue state and prominent Trump critic, Hogan believes he can bridge the gap with independent and Democrat voters enough to land him in the White House in 2024.
