Marjorie Taylor Greene stirred up a political storm with her โnational divorceโ comments.
Greene tweeted her proposal to separate red and blue states on Presidents' Day. โThe last thing I ever want to see in America is a civil war,โ Greene told Sean Hannity Tuesday night. โBut it's going that direction, and we have to do something about it.โ
While Hannity was sympathetic, fellow Fox News host Laura Ingraham systematically dismantled Greene's idea yesterday evening.

Per Mediaite:
On Wednesday's edition ofย The Ingraham Angle, the host advocated for a strategy of โno state left behind.โ
Ingraham also aired a clip of Greene advocating for the disenfranchisement of Democratic voters who move to red states.:
Ingraham proceeded to poke holes in her proposal:
โOk, well, first, a law prohibiting American citizens โ who've not committed a crime โ from voting would probably not withstand legal scrutiny,โ she said. โAnd, second, how would like a national divorce be good for conservatism? Now, why would we want to embrace the states that gave us Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, but essentially give up on the states that gave us Reagan and Trump?โ
She added, โThe last thing we need is an American breakup of any sort. Remember, a motto of this show almost from the start over five years ago has been โno state left behind.' Just because it often seems like Democrats have given up on America themselves, doesn't mean ever that Republicans or conservatives should.โ
