Tech billionaire Peter Thiel plans to keep his money out of politics during the next election cycle.
The major Republican donor has reportedly stated that he is upset with the party's focus on โhot-button social issues.โ
Mediaite reports:
โPayPal founder and Republican megadonorย Peter Thielย has reportedly told associates that he won't financially back any political candidates in 2024 because he has grown weary of America's culture wars.
Reutersย heard from sourcesย close to Thiel who say he wants the GOP to focus on spurring innovation, competing with China, and other economic pursuits he has urged over the years. Since the end of 2022, however, Thiel has reportedly been displeased because Republicans would rather harp about abortion, transgender bathrooms and other cultural flashpoints, which he sees as a mistake.โ
Per Open Secrets, Thiel spent over $35 million supporting Republicans in 2022, which was spread among 16 candidates at the federal level.

He’s right. The GOP is not a united party with RINOs and radicals bickering about issues that are not essential to the survival of our nation, both domestic and foreign. At this time, the Democrats are digging America into a hole we may never emerge from. Yet, there are people still vehemently supporting a party that obviously doesn’t care about all Americans and our Constitution. They only want total control over us starting with socialism, which is partly successful now, and eventually leading to the government having complete control of everyone’s life from birth to death.
We then back the true Republicans. President Trump stands for America. The RINOs have to go.
Thank U the Party is fossilizing & dated
Too much DC Estd
I agree but withe the leftists pushing trans fantasies on all of us, we need to push back to a common sense level to protect girls and women and their right to be safe in the bathroom.
