The FBI has arrested a real estate developer linked to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxtonโs impeachment.
On Thursday, federal authorities arrested Nate Paul (R) was booked at the Travis County Jail for an โundeterminedโ felony charge and is being held.
Paul was at the center of the allegations against Paxton, who wasย impeachedย by the Texas House in a 121-33 vote late last month. (RELATED: GOP Panel Recommends Impeaching Texas AG Ken Paxton)
According to The Hill, in regard to Paul, the Texas attorney general allegedly intervened in litigation for the developer's benefit, provided him with access to nonpublic information, and received home renovations and had him employ a woman with whom Paxton was having an extramarital affair in exchange for โfavorable legal assistance from, or specialized access to, the office of the attorney general.โ
Paxton faces 20 different charges of misconduct in office, including bribery, obstruction of justice, dereliction of duty, unfitness for office and abuse of public trust, among others.ย

I didn’t know that “unfitness for public office” was an actual crime. How come – since they were always saying he was unfit – Trump was never charged with this crime?
โPaxton faced 20 different charges of misconduct in officeโฆโ why is this sentence in the past tense? Has Paxton been exonerated?
And the general question: since the FBI is definitely now a subversive organization in service to an imposter executive branch, making it a criminal enterprise in and of itself, what are we to make of their arresting of this guy Mr. Paul?
