An interview Thursday night between Sean Hannity and White House hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy quickly went off the rails.
Ramaswamy appeared on Hannity's Fox News program two days after his interview with Tucker Carlson was published. During the exchange, Hannity asked the entrepreneur and presidential candidate to clarify his statement about the Republican presidential primary field. In his interview with Carlson, Ramaswamy lamented that GOP candidates were focusing too much on foreign affairs rather than on the interests of the United States at home.
The fireworks display started shortly after that:
Per Insider:
Hannity made the comments after he pressed Ramaswamy about an interview the candidate recently did withย Tucker Carlsonย where the two spoke about the war between Israel and Hamas. During the Carlson-Ramaswamy interview, Ramaswamy said that the US โignoring certain other conflicts, while even more importantly ignoring the interests of the US right here at homeโ irritated โthe heck out ofโ him.
Ramaswamy also took a swipe at fellow GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley, who formerly held a seat on Boeing's board of directors, saying she was โsomebody that like many politicians in a position to get wealthier from war.โ
Pressed about these comments on Thursday by Hannity, Ramaswamy appeared taken aback, accusing the host of mischaracterizing what he said to Carlson.

Ramaswamy has at times gone after reporters who have highlighted his less-popular countercultural takes, like when he questioned what happened on 9/11. After his comments were placed under a microscope by The Atlantic, he claimed he was misquoted, despiteย an audio recordingย showing the opposite.
After a while, Hannity got fed up with Ramaswamy's frequent interjections and terminated his feed.

Sean Hannity might have gotten tired of Vavek but I got tired of Sean. He asked Vavek questions and he never listened to one of his answers. He was so rude it was embarrassing. Sean needs to sit back and count the number of times he uses the word “I”. He is much more interested in his own opinion of things than he ever is of his quest. He cut Vivek off and I turned Sean off. It was horrible the way that man was treated. His friend Neil Cavoto behaves the same way to his guests. I’ve had it with Fox and their prima donna’s.
Iโve listened to him cut off people who are experts on a subject, say, trucking or farming so he can tell them what he knows. Tired of him.
I never felt he was qualified for President and this type of exchange with news media proves he can not hold his own and as such could not represent our nation any better than the Basement Bum we now have.
Agree. To me he comes across as a Snake Oil Salesman.
Session went nowhere, Too much X talk
If Mr. Ramaswamy should win the Republican nomination, it will be interest to hear Hannity choking on his words.
