Florida Governor Ron DeSantis enjoys aย double-digit leadย in the polls against his challengers. That doesn't mean Democrats won't try to unseat him. Whatever difficulties may come, progressives badly want to see DeSantis lose.
Unfortunately, for Democrats, none of their attacks have resonated with the broader electorate.ย
Florida Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried fared particularly poorly in the most recent poll in the race,ย down 23 pointsย to the incumbent governor.
According to the polls, Fried is having trouble in the Democratic Primary. The latest surveyย showsย her eight points behind former Republican Gov. Charlie Crist.
Does that explain her tweet denying rumors about a sex tape that no one in Tallahassee โ or America โ seems to have heard about?
The Daily Wireย reports:
โMa'am, thank you for clarifying but the question was about how you would allocate excess funds from the state budget,โ Stephen L. Miller quipped inย reply.
Another tweeted:
โDang,โ podcaster Jesse Kellyย wrote.
The original tweet, which appears in response to nothing, read: โIt's absurd that I have to dignify this, but there is no sex tape. Sorry to disappoint. Also sorry basically every successful woman has to deal with these types of rumors.โ
Fried's campaign did not respond to The Daily Wire's request for comment.
In January, Fried came under fire for comparing Gov. DeSantis' COVID response to Adolf Hitler.

Typical democrat response, when you’re behind do and so anything that will put you in a better light and the republicans in a poorer light.
most of you people were not even born during Hitler’s reign, so what are you talking about? All you really have is what someone else told you. That is called hearsay.
