State prosecutors have charged a Chicago resident with leaving a threatening voicemail for Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey. Scott Lennox, 21, called the GOP nominee after a pro-Bailey advertisement “angered” him. In a voicemail, Lennox threatened to “skin” Bailey “alive” and “feed his [expletive] family” to him. A federal judge ruled that a controversial activist group in Arizona has the constitutionally protected right to observe voters dropping off their mail-in ballots at locked drop boxes.
