Earlier today the Republican National Committee (RNC) voted overwhelmingly to censure Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.). The RNC said that the two representatives are “participating in a Democratic led persecution of ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate political discourse.” Although 35 House Republicans voted to support an independent commission to investigate the U.S. Capitol attack as part of a bipartisan deal, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) came out against it. Then, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) pulled all GOP members he had nominated from the House committee investigating the attack following Speaker Pelosi’s rejection of Reps.…

Despite the Omicron surge, nonfarm payrolls grew by 467,000 in January. Wall Street expected employers to add 150,000 new jobs. While experts believed Omicron would put millions of workers on the sidelines, the economy brushed off the latest variant of COVID-19. The Biden administration was quick to take a victory lap after it spent much of the past week bracing for anemic numbers. We created 467,000 jobs in January. That’s more than 6.6 million jobs since I took office. 2021 was the greatest year of job creation under any president in history. — President Biden (@POTUS) February 4, 2022 However,…

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill The 2022 midterms are coming closer. Although Democrats won the biggest prize in 2020, Republicans are poised to make substantial gains this cycle. Of course, nothing is set in stone and if conservative politicians should know anything, it’s this: Being right is not sufficient to win. We owe it our values, our children and future generations to learn how to win. It was with that mindset in mind that we at American Liberty News decided to conduct a 2022 elections and issues…

The White House has announced that U.S.-led forces carried out a “successful” counterterrorism operation in Syria early on Thursday. The target of their raid: ISIS leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi. Al-Qurashi led the terror group since October 2019. His predecessor, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, blew himself and his children up while under attack by U.S. special forces. Indeed, the raid closely resembled the one launched by President Trump two years ago. Commandos swarmed al-Qurashi’s compound under cover of darkness. After attempts to get everyone inside to surrender themselves failed, “a major battle” erupted. Like al-Baghdadi, al-Qurashi exploded a bomb as U.S.…

Other industries, such as trade, transportation and utilities, along with other service-providing industries make up the rest of the losses. The report is the first time payroll processing firm ADP reported negative job growth since December 2020. As CNBC explains: The labor market recovery took a step back at the…

A Wisconsin company has learned the hard way not to alienate half the country. Bill Penzey, CEO of Penzeys Spices, inexplicably declared that he should rename Penzeys’ Martin Luther King Jr. Day sale weekend “Republicans are racist weekend.” Worse still, Penzey’s suggestion came in a company newsletter. He cited proposing modest election reforms and opposing riots as proof of the GOP’s racism. Penzey went so far as to sickeningly claim Republicans often fantasize about killing African Americans. The company has since lost over 40,000 subscribers. The CEO’s latest email put a brave face on a difficult situation. Still, he couldn’t sugarcoat…

President Biden approved plans this morning to send thousands of U.S. troops to Central and Eastern Europe in the coming days. The announcement came after Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recommended repositioning U.S. military units closer to Ukraine amid its standoff with Russia. Late last month, the Pentagon placed 8,500 service members on “heightened alert” in response to Russia’s massive military buildup on Ukraine’s borders. As CNN reports: The deployments to Eastern Europe, which were first reported by CNN, are a show of support to NATO allies feeling threatened by Russia’s military moves near Ukraine, US officials said. The troops are…
