A Georgia state lawmaker is fed up with the Democrat Party. Donald Trump’s legal team is requesting Judge Aileen Cannon delay the upcoming trial concerning the former president’s alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House. The Justice Department previously requested a Dec. 11 trial date. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson will host a Republican presidential forum later this week but one major figure will be missing: former president Donald Trump. A New York judge delivered some costly news to former White House adviser Steve Bannon. New York Supreme Court Judge Arlene Bluth ruled Friday that Bannon must pay the law firm that previously represented him $480,487.87 plus interest in relation to four different legal matters, according to The Hill. Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP sued Bannon in February, saying he had only paid $375,000 of the roughly $850,000 in total that the law firm billed him. A former CNN correspondent is suing the network for discrimination after she was injured while on assignment in the Middle East. Saima Mohsin is suing CNN for unfair dismissal, disability & race discrimination. Barrett is running for the seat being left by Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D) who is running for Senate. The conservative House Freedom Caucus has reportedly expelled Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from its ranks. Caucus board member Rep. Former President Donald Trump’s valet, Walt Nauta, pled not guilty to obstruction of justice and other charges connected to the ongoing Mar-A-Lago classified documents case. Special counsel Jack Smith has reportedly issued a subpoena to the Arizona Secretary of State’s office as part of his ongoing investigation into the Jan. 6th Capitol riot. A spokesperson confirmed to The Hill that the secretary of state’s office received two subpoenas, one for the previous administration and another for the current one.
