House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has subpoenaed FBI Director Christopher Wray in connection to a now-withdrawn memo that explored avenues for gaining information on white supremacists’ interaction with local Catholic churches. Donald Trump’s legal team is appealing an order requiring former Vice President Mike Pence to testify as part of the Justice Department’s investigation into Trump’s alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. Trump’s challenge follows D.C. A settlement has been reached in a defamation lawsuit against Fox News and former host Lou Dobbs. Swimming champion Riley Gaines was attacked on Thursday when she visited San Francisco State University to advocate for the rights of female athletes. Gaines had begun her speech on protecting female athletes from unfair competition when protesters burst into the room where she was speaking. House Republicans have issued their first subpoena in its investigation of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office.
