Louisiana Senator John Kennedy isn’t interested in pursuing the governor’s mansion at this time. Authorities are revealing more about the teenager suspected of attacking multiple New York Police Department officers on New Year’s Eve with a machete. According to authorities, Trevor Bickford, 19, from Maine, attacked three NYPD officers near Times Square on Saturday at roughly 10:11 p.m., attempting to strike one with a machete before hitting two other officers in the head with the weapon. The highly anticipated recount results are in for Arizona’s attorney general race. Republican nominee Abraham Hamadeh has lost to Democrat Kris Mayes in one of the tightest races in Arizona history. The initial tally had Mayes leading Hamadeh by 511 votes, though that margin tightened considerably during the recount. David Depape, the Canadian immigrant accused of attacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband in their San Fransisco home has pleaded not guilty to all state charges. During the Wednesday court appearance, DePape also waived his right to a trial within 60 days. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 23.
