Congressional lawmakers are preparing to end the threat of a rail strike after the President called on lawmakers to force through a tentative contract agreement that some railroad workers initially rejected.  On Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced their plan to cooperate with Biden’s plea, agreeing that a rail strike this close to the holidays would be detrimental to the U.S. economy. A Biden Energy Department official has been charged with felony theft after stealing a woman’s suitcase from the Minneapolis airport earlier this fall. Sam Brinton, a senior Energy Department official who identifies as non-binary, allegedly took a Vera Bradley suitcase worth $2,325 from the luggage carousel according to a criminal complaint filed on Oct. 26 in Minnesota state court and obtained by Fox News. Arizona Republicans have filed a lawsuit after widespread voting issues impacted Election Day and prolonged results for more than a week. Arizona Republican attorney general nominee Abraham Hamadeh in conjunction with the Republican National Committee (RNC) filed suit against many election officials Tuesday. Journalist William Kelly filed a lawsuit against the Chicago mayor after she had his press credentials revoked following a tense exchange between the two. In October, Trump filed a $475 million lawsuit against the left-wing network accusing CNN of defamation over its coverage of his 2020 election claims.
