On Thursday, the Department of Justice announced its plan to appeal U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon’s order to appoint a special master to review the materials seized during the FBI’s raid of Trump’s Florida residence. Federal prosecutors served a subpoena to a personal aide of former President Donald Trump. William S. Russell, a 31-year-old aide to Mr. Trump who served as a special assistant and the deputy director of presidential advance operations in the White House was subpoenaed in Florida. Russell was one of a small group of White House aides to continue working for Trump following his departure from the Oval Office. In an effort to combat unaffordable housing costs, Milpitas Unified School District is asking parents to rent rooms to educators being forced to leave the city.
