ANALYSIS – During a “Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy” conference at the University of Chicago, former President Barack Obama did his own bit of massive misinforming when he absurdly tried to present himself as tough on Russia. In remarks to The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, he recalled having to “drag” U.S. allies to take action against Russia after it invaded Crimea in 2014. These comments produced a furious backlash, as Obama’s response to that first Russian invasion of Ukraine was anything but tough. In fact, Obama’s policies were notoriously weak and ineffective, including his refusal to give Ukraine offensive weapons which President…

During an interview with Armstrong Williams, on his nationally syndicated TV show, the former director of the CIA’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Terrorism Unit, Charles Faddis, noted that not only was the Hunter laptop story not a Russian intelligence plot, as 51 now-discredited ex-U.S. intelligence officials asserted in 2020, but he had some choice words to describe Hunter Biden. As the Daily Signal notes, when asked about White House corruption, the laptop, and the lies about it being a Russian plot: Faddis, who has possessed and studied the laptop for over a year, answered the second question—whether foreign powers purchased the Oval Office…

As reported earlier by ALN, a new security agreement between China and the Solomon Islands could put the communist superpower on the doorstep of Australia and New Zealand and also nearer to Guam, with its strategic U.S. military bases in the Western Pacific. But this latest pact is also part of China’s far-reaching global plan. The Solomon Islands government says a draft of its agreement with China was finalized last week and will be “cleaned up” and signed soon. The government has also said the pact is necessary because of its limited ability to deal with violent uprisings like the one in November.…

In what could be only the tip of the iceberg of something far bigger, two men have been arrested for impersonating Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents and ensnaring several unwitting Secret Service agents and Secret Service uniformed officers in a sophisticated influence operation. The bizarre two-year-long scheme involved at least four members of the Secret Service with the fake DHS agents providing the Secret Service officers and agents tens of thousands of dollars in gifts and perks. The gifts included penthouse apartments, surveillance equipment, iPhones and expensive rifles. The Daily Beast reported: According to an unsealed affidavit filed in federal court,…

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is admitting that President Biden’s decision to soon rescind the 2020 CDC emergency order that provided for the quick expulsion of illegal immigrants to protect Americans from aliens with COVID-19 “will likely cause a surge in irregular immigration.” The DHS response plan? To simply release many of these new illegal migrants into the country; or in DHS-speak, offer ‘broadscale release mechanisms.” This, according to a leaked DHS draft planning document dated February 17, “DHS Southwest Border Mass Irregular Migration Contingency Plan,” initially published, in its entirety, by Breitbart News. A DHS spokesman did not dispute the authenticity of the document.…

Despite repeated denials by President Biden that he knew anything of his son Hunter’s overseas business schemes, Hunter Biden’s laptop shows that the president recommended the son of one of Hunter’s business partners to the president of Brown University, an elite Ivy League college. As recently as Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki still affirmed that President Biden has not discussed Hunter’s overseas business dealings with his son. However, Fox News Digital (FND) obtained emails from Hunter’s laptop (recently verified by The New York Times and The Washington Post) between Hunter and his business associates involved in his firm Rosemont Seneca’s joint venture with…

In early March, responding to a tweeted plea from Ukraine’s deputy prime minister to Elon Musk, SpaceX delivered a truckload of donated Starlink internet terminals to the besieged European nation in just one day. That lightning-fast deployment highlights how the Starlink system can rapidly bring high-speed internet to any crisis spot in the world. Since then, the number of terminals shipped to Ukraine has topped 10,000 units. So far, the Russians haven’t been targeting the small visible dishes — though Musk advised users in Ukraine to “place light camouflage” over the antennas to avoid detection. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1499473797539250200?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1499473797539250200%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Famericandefensenews.com%2F2022%2F04%2F07%2Felon-musks-10000-starlink-keeping-ukraines-warzones-online%2F Meanwhile, SpaceX is currently…

During a fiery exchange at Tuesday’s House Armed Services Committee hearing on the defense budget, Florida Republican Matt Gaetz slammed Biden Defense Secretary (SecDef) Lloyd Austin for being obsessed with far-left indoctrination of our troops. He also accused Team Biden of “trying to destroy our military with wokeism.” While talking over Austin, Gaetz argued that the Pentagon has gotten a lot of things wrong recently, telling Austin: You have been blowing a lot of calls lately on matters of strategy, Mr. Secretary. You told us that Russia couldn’t lose. You told us that the Taliban couldn’t immediately win. So, I guess I’m wondering what in the $773 billion…
