ANALYSIS – As crazy as it may seem, even as violent crime continues unabated and illegal aliens flood into our nation’s capital, the extreme left (aka ‘progressive’) local D.C. government is trying to pass a revised criminal code that would lower penalties for a number of violent criminal offenses. While the D.C. criminal code is outdated and in major need of revision, making existing laws even more lenient is a recipe for disaster. This is why the new GOP-led House is moving to quash D.C.’s latest leftist crime-enabling law by using Congress’ constitutional authority over the District. Murders, carjackings and armed…

ANALYSIS – Following the decision to send U.S. M1A2 Abrams and German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, the embattled nation is now asking allied nations to create a “fighter jet coalition” to bolster their air combat capabilities. This effort would potentially provide Ukraine with U.S. F-16s and F-35s, Eurofighters, Tornados, French Rafales and Swedish Gripen jets. Reuters reported that a Ukrainian air force spokesman said while all these top-tier aircraft would be welcome, F-16s may be the best multirole fighter option to replace the country’s current fleet of Soviet-era warplanes. After committing to send 14 Leopard 2s and allowing other NATO…

ANALYSIS – Great Britain has long been one of the world’s premier military powers, even after divesting itself of its global empire after World War II and shrinking its forces and global footprint. While its armed forces are small relative to the major superpowers, the U.K. has always punched well above its weight, keeping itself among the world’s elite forces. Among its strengths were its centuries of global military warfighting experience, well-equipped and highly trained officers and troops, not to mention its small but lethal nuclear capability. Sadly, according to one U.S. general, and other defense sources, the U.K. has…

ANALYSIS – While the Donald Trump classified documents saga is embarrassing in its own right, it appears to be more ego-related than anything else. Trump thought he could take them and he did – a lot of them. Not so with Joe Biden’s similar saga, which, while it involves less volume, could involve son, Hunter Biden and Communist China. While in no way excusing him, Trump doesn’t seem to have had any other motive than ego. That doesn’t change the potential damage to national security they may have caused. However, despite unhinged partisan commentary at the saga’s outset speculating that Trump…

ANALYSIS – Air Force General Mike Minihan, commander of the U.S. Air Mobility Command (AMC) recently created a firestorm by telling the 110,000 active, reserve and Guard Airmen under his command in an official memo that that they should be prepping for war with China by 2025 – in just two years. The very ballsy Minihan is probably right about his timeline for conflict with China, even as the bureaucrats at the Pentagon and elsewhere tried to downplay and distance themselves from his comments. But China may try to achieve its objective of subjugating Taiwan by less direct means. And that process…
