ANALYSIS – In yet another act of supreme bipartisan sanity by the Senate Armed Services Committee, an amendment to the annual defense policy bill would bar the military from considering state laws in deciding where to station service members. Five Democrat senators joined all 13 Republicans on the committee to vote for the amendment. Earlier I wrote about the same Senate committee instructing the Pentagon to ‘immediately’ end its highly politicized ‘counter-extremism’ effort. In this case, according to Military.com: The amendment comes after Military.com reported in May that the Army was drafting a policy that could allow soldiers to request a move if state or local…

ANALYSIS – In a powerful rebuke to Team Biden’s political witch hunt against conservatives in the military, the Senate Armed Services Committee just told the Pentagon to immediately halt its latest programs to allegedly prevent and root out ‘extremism’ in the ranks. This extremism in the military has been the latest false narrative created by the left to discredit conservatives in general and Trump supporters in particular. The Defense Department initiative was justified largely by the fact that dozens of people charged with ransacking the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, out of many hundreds, were former or current service personnel.…

ANALYSIS – According to recent news stories, uber-liberal state legislators in Washington State are to blame for lawbreaking motorists simply refusing to stop for Washington State troopers. (RELATED: Thanks to Woke Legislature, Criminals Literally Ignore Washington State Police) As part of the generally discredited leftist ‘Defund the Police’ movement of 2020, the crunchy granola state on the “Left Coast” of the country is still empowering criminals while scaling back police powers. As Republicans prepare for a highly likely takeover of the House of Representatives in November, the GOP leadership is planning a lengthy list of oversight goals targeting the Biden administration and the Democrats’ formation of the Jan. 6 select committee. (RELATED: Did Trump Really Want to Lead an ‘Armed Mob’ to the Capitol on Jan. 6?) The party’s targets include Hunter Biden’s business dealings, Afghanistan, the origins of the coronavirus, inflation causes and the U.S.-Mexico border. As Politico reports: Republicans view executive-branch oversight as a significant piece of their 2023 agenda, driven in part by the reality that divided government would…

Primarily intended for use by Army Special Forces combat divers, Navy SEALs and possibly Marine Recon and MARSOC Raiders, jet boots give our underwater special operators greatly added capability. The technology has been around for a few years, but the Pentagon just signed a $10 million contract to give an undefined number of the latest version to our troops through 2027. The lightweight gear, known as a Jet Boots Diver Propulsion System (DPS) doesn’t really consist of boots but more like thigh-strapped propellers or thrusters. And they are intended to replace the underwater scooters or Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPVs) currently used by…

Starbucks, one of America’s most iconic brands, citing crime and safety concerns, not profits, recently announced it is shuttering 16 of its stores in major, mostly Democrat-run cities such as Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Los Angeles was particularly hard-hit, losing six stores. As a former Acting U.S. Naval Attaché who made a few mistakes myself, I can understand the sentiment and admire this officer’s courage, but maybe not his judgment. Apparently, Dale Samuel, Naval Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, took a selfie while flipping off a sticker of a ‘Z’ symbol on a pole while cycling through the Russian capital. But that wasn’t the real issue. The problem is the U.S. military diplomat, assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), as all attachés are, got caught on CCTV camera. And like any good American military man, once he realized it,…
