In one of the most interesting military recruitment videos ever produced, the Army’s 4th Psychological Operations Group-Airborne launched a new video with little explanation. Titled “Ghosts in the Machine,” the video simply states: “All the world’s a stage. Join us.” While not saying much, the video, which feels more like a movie trailer for some new dark sci-fi flick or video game, provides “unsettling” music and imagery intended more to elicit emotion and thought than provide clarity. Just as psychological warfare should. As one social media user stated: “Everything is a weapon. Even this video.” The Charlotte Observer, which reports on…

Even as Western military supplies and weapons pour into Ukraine, the besieged country has another source of military hardware – Russia. Apparently, Ukrainian mechanics in Kharkiv have been repairing battle-damaged Russian army T-72 and T-80 tanks for use by Ukrainian forces. (RELATED: Why Russian Tanks Are Getting Their Turrets Blown Clean Off in Ukraine) Task and Purpose writes: Russia’s massive tank force was seen as one of its biggest tools in the invasion, but tanks have been bogged down, blocked and outright destroyed. The exact number is unknown–Ukraine claims to have destroyed more than 1,000–but at least 200 have been lost. Ukraine meanwhile has lost…

ANALYSIS – The horrific mass shooting by a deranged white gunman in Buffalo, New York has prodded the liberal media to breathlessly focus on the ‘great replacement theory.’ (RELATED: Tucker Carlson Fires Back at Claims He Inspired Mass Shooter) This idea posits that Democrats have been aggressively pushing an open-borders immigration policy for decades to replace traditional Americans of European descent with third-world migrants more likely to be co-opted by the Left. Calling it ‘racist,’ ‘fringe,’ ‘extremist,’ ‘discredited’ and all manner of other epithets, the liberal media, in collusion with the Democrat Party want to turn a simple statement of…

Ending its 200-year-long neutrality, and joining its Nordic neighbor Finland, Sweden has formally announced its bid to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Sweden had avoided military alliances since the end of the Napoleonic Wars in 1815, including throughout the Cold War with the USSR, but has grown closer to NATO since the 1991 Soviet collapse. Until recently both countries appeared firm in their neutrality. But Russia’s recent military aggression changed the mood dramatically. As AP noted: “Public opinion in both Nordic countries was firmly against joining NATO before the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, but support…

In a historic first, America’s premier espionage agency is going online to recruit Russian spies. The CIA is now instructing Russian ‘digital-walk-ins’ on how to use an encrypted access node to its website to provide clandestine information on Russia, from their home, office or internet café. “Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has prompted more Russians to take the risky step of getting in touch with the intelligence agency, officials said,” according to The Washington Post. ‘Walk-ins’ are those well-placed individuals who simply walk into a U.S. embassy to volunteer information on their country. They are then vetted and debriefed. Often, they are recruited…

ANALYSIS – Related to my recent piece on a liberal think tank recommending a renewed focus on criminals and the mentally ill, rather than on guns, to combat the surge in ‘gun violence’ in the nation’s capital, a new study from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published Tuesday shows black-on-black homicides surged nationally during 2020. That was of course the same year that Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests and violent riots rocked major cities across the United States, especially during the 2020 BLM ‘Summer of Love.’ The focus of this massive civil unrest was to bash law enforcement and pressure, often…
