ANALYSIS – The national crime wave facing America since the Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots during the violent 2020 ‘summer of love,’ and ensuing Democrat-led ‘defund the police’ efforts, has now been turbocharged by President Biden’s disastrous border policies. (RELATED: Leaked – Biden’s DHS Plan to Offer ‘Broadscale Release’ for Coming Surge of Illegal Aliens) While few on the left want to attribute the massive surge in violent crime to BLM and its supporters, fewer still want to blame Biden’s border crisis. Yet, both are greatly to blame. And some worried Senate Democrats are finally admitting it. And this is important,…

President Joe Biden’s disastrous border policies just keep getting worse. Now his own Homeland Security officials admit they are preparing to release upwards of 600,000 illegal aliens into the United States due to the expected “historic border surge” caused by Biden’s latest move. Biden recently announced his decision to end Title 42, a pandemic-era policy that enables quick expulsions. That policy will now expire in May. The Epoch Times (ET) reports that Deane Dougherty, a coordinator for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which is part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), said due to this decision officials expect a “historic border surge, with…

In the 1984 Cold War movie “Red Dawn” – as Soviet troops battled their own real insurgency in Afghanistan – characters played by Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen and Jennifer Grey lead a guerrilla band of high school students from a small town in Colorado to fight a fictional Russian invasion of the United States. Their battle cry, like their school team’s vicious little mascot, was – “Wolverines,” and they would leave their Wolverines tag whenever they would strike the Soviet Russian invaders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REKLC3s30Mw And now, in a perfect case of life imitating art, that same tag is increasingly showing up on destroyed Russian…

The Kremlin founded its first special operations forces – Spetsnaz – in the 1950s to conduct strategic missions against NATO installations. In 2009, emulating America’s Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) created in the 1980s, Russia formed a dedicated special-operations command organization – the Russian Special Operations Forces Command. This is a strategic-level special-operations organization tasked with the toughest, most critical missions. A few elite Spetsnaz units, such as Alpha and Vympel Groups, still maintain this strategic focus, but now all Russian special operations units are also generically called Spetsnaz. And these military light infantry airborne shock troops are playing a major role in Putin’s war against Ukraine. While there is…

ANALYSIS – Video and photos from the battlefields in Ukraine have been showing an unusual number of Russian heavy tanks with their turrets blown clean off, sometimes being hurled away from the rest of the destroyed tank in a massive explosion. What is causing this devastation to Russia’s vaunted armored forces? Western anti-tank weapons such as the Javelin which strike the tanks from above are one factor. But armor experts explain this devastating effect is primarily caused by ‘sympathetic detonations’ when all the tank’s ammunition explodes, ignited by a shock wave, or impact of primary or secondary blast fragments. Some simply…

Tel Aviv, Israel — Israel’s new laser missile-defense system has successfully intercepted mortars, rockets and anti-tank missiles in recent tests, Israeli leaders said Thursday. The Israeli-made laser system, known as the “Iron Beam,” is designed to complement a series of aerial defense systems, including the more costly rocket-intercepting Iron Dome. “This may sound like science-fiction, but it’s real,” said Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. “The Iron Beam’s interceptions are silent, they’re invisible and they only cost around $3.50″ apiece, he added. Little is known about the laser system’s effectiveness, but it is expected to be deployed on land, in the air…

Ukraine has taken credit for sinking a second Russian warship, the flagship of the Russian Black Sea fleet, the missile cruiser Moskva. Ukraine claims it struck the ship twice with its Neptune anti-ship missiles, apparently hidden in or around the strategic port city of Odessa. Earlier in March Ukraine sank a Russian Alligator-class landing ship, the Saratov in port at Berdyansk. Russia has asserted the latest ship was damaged in an accidental ammunition explosion. This is the same 510-crew, 610-foot-long Moskva that led Russia’s naval assault on Ukraine and reportedly captured Ukrainian border guards on Snake Island after being told to “F*ck themselves” by the guards. https://twitter.com/Capt_Navy/status/1514464013509345280?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1514464013509345280%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Famericandefensenews.com%2F2022%2F04%2F15%2Fukraine-sinks-russias-third-largest-and-best-defended-warship-the-moskva%2F The warship was…
