A senior administration official has clarified a late weekend bombshell. After President Biden let a Chinese spy balloon glide across the United States, allegations emerged that one or more spy balloons violated U.S. airspace during the Trump administration. But the discovery didn’t occur until Biden took office. The explanation follows denials from the former president and his national security team that such events ever happened or that they were briefed. As Fox News reports: But on Sunday, a senior administration official told Fox News Digital that “U.S. intelligence, not the Biden administration” assesses that “PRC (People’s Republic of China) government…

Is Kari Lake preparing for a comeback? After narrowly losing the Arizona gubernatorial election and coming up empty-handed in a long-shot legal bid to overturn the results, the MAGA favorite reportedly met with members of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). They argue that Lake’s obstinance on that point cost her the election. The Daily Caller continues: “Any candidate in ’24 that has, as their principal campaign theme, a stolen election, is probably going to have…

The Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB) can find hard-to-reach targets up to 93 miles away. Unlike large-caliber projectiles fired by artillery, they can strike enemy forces positioned on the reverse slopes of hills. Forbes has more on the never-before-used weapon, which may take up to nine months to arrive: The munition combines Boeing’s popular 250-pound Small-Diameter Bomb—with its GPS-aided inertial guidance,…

A U.S. court ruled Thursday that the federal government can’t stop people with domestic violence restraining orders from owning guns. The three-judge panel called the 1994 law an “outlier that our ancestors wouldn’t have accepted.” The Fifth District Court of Appeal’s ruling doesn’t affect similar state laws. However, proponents of the right to bear arms point to the decision as the latest sign that a new era for gun rights is here following the Supreme Court’s landmark Bruen decision in June. https://twitter.com/FPCAction/status/1621213689805242368?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1621213689805242368%7Ctwgr%5E328277969ddfdfbb066805745379f8316b88f2e5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fdailycallernewsfoundation.org%2F2023%2F02%2F02%2Ffederal-court-strikes-down-decades-old-gun-law-targeting-domestic-violence%2F The Daily Caller explains: The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth District ruled that the federal criminal statute…
