Kentucky authorities are investigating death threats made by an unidentified individual against Republican Sens. Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul and schoolchildren in the Bluegrass State. Bowling Green Independent Schools, the Warren County Schools and the Allen County School systems each received a copy of the threat. The school districts serve Bowling Green — home to Sen. The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol Building will recommend criminal charges to the Department of Justice.
