A clear frontrunner has emerged to replace House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to lead the Democratic caucus after her departure. Although it’s unclear, speculation is increasingly rampant that Pelosi will be pressured by members of her own caucus to retire if Republicans seize control of the House. Pelosi’s heir apparent, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., isn’t a household name yet. That seems destined to change soon. The Daily Caller reports: House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn of South Carolina and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York, who chairs the House Democratic Caucus, met up at Clyburn’s office during the summer congressional recess, according…

In an appearance on Real America’s Voice, former President Donald Trump told host John Fredericks that Republicans should impeach Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. Trump’s ding at the Kentucky Republican comes days before the GOP is expected to win control of the House and possibly the Senate. Should Republican win control of the upper chamber of the U.S. Congress, McConnell would become the next majority leader. However, Trump told Fredericks that he believed McConnell would cave on future debt limit negotiations with the Biden administration. He further speculated, without proof, that the senior Republican leader might acquiesce to Democrat…

As CNN reports: “We hereby direct that the Pennsylvania county boards of elections segregate and preserve any ballots contained in undated or incorrectly dated outer envelopes,”…
