“Fox & Friends” co-hosts Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Rachel Campos-Duffy sparred on their in-studio couch this morning over President Joe Biden’s divisive “soul of the nation” address last night in Philadelphia. Biden’s politically-charged speech — in front of the building where the U.S. Constitution was adopted — warned of the alleged threat to democracy from the MAGA movement. WATCH: https://twitter.com/Breaking911/status/1565517609168257030 The current president’s fierce aim at Trump’s so-called “extremist” supporters sets up the midterm elections as a proxy war between Biden and Trump. Reaction from Republicans who support Trump was equally fierce. However, concerns over Trump’s handling of classified…

Judge Aileen Cannon declined to issue a ruling on former President Donald Trump’s bid to have a third-party special master review the evidence collected by the FBI during its search of his primary residence. Instead, a written ruling will be released “in due course.” https://twitter.com/stevenportnoy/status/1565414445437931520 Attorneys from the Department of Justice called Trump’s request for a special master, made weeks after FBI agents executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago, a belated attempt to delay the government’s investigation into whether or not Trump’s storage of documents from his time in the White House harmed national security. The DOJ had urged Judge…

President Joe Biden has decided to give a controversial prime-time speech on Thursday. Speaking to the nation in front of Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, Biden will tell Americans that democracy is at stake, their freedoms are “under attack” and only one party has fought to protect them. Fox News reports: “He will speak about how the core values of this nation — our standing in the world, our democracy — are at stake,” a White House official confirmed to Fox News. “He will talk about the progress we have made as a nation to protect our democracy but how our rights and…

The Biden administration is expressing concern over violence in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. Still, it denies reports that it ordered the evacuation of the U.S. embassy in the heavily-fortified Green Zone. Retired Rear Admiral John Kirby said that while Iraq’s democratic institutions “are not being allowed to function,” reports of the embassy being under threat are “false.” The Hill reports: “There’s no evacuation going on at the embassy and no indication that’s going to be required at this time,” Kirby told reporters on a call on Monday.Media reports indicated that multiple people were killed and several were injured in clashes…

After a botched rollout campaign, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) scrapped its Disinformation Governance Board. But the Biden administration’s commitment to fighting “disinformation” with an Orwellian “truth board” or something like it is very much alive. A Homeland Security Advisory Council report released without fanfare last week confirms DHS remains committed to working with Big Tech to censor individuals who don’t subscribe to the pro-Biden media’s narrative, even when it has been painstakingly disproven. Such was the case after The New York Times confirmed the Hunter Biden laptop story was not Russian disinformation. Other examples like the mainstream media…

The United States has provided billions in weapons and military equipment to Ukraine to fend off the Russian invasion. The strategy appears to be paying dividends so far. While the true number of Russian casualties remains a matter of debate, Vladimir Putin’s call on Thursday for 137,000 more troops strongly suggests the official Russian death toll has one or two more zeros than the Kremlin reports. Nineteen installments in U.S. military aid have provided Ukraine with thousands of new weapons. More are expected. 19FortyFive has more on the latest security assistance package, with a comprehensive list of what the U.S.…

The latest installment in the “Predator” franchise is already being compared to the best movie in the three-decades-old film series: 1987’s “Predator.” It’s also a highly entertaining example of why insurgencies are so hard to beat. The film, titled “Prey,” stars Amber Midthunder, as the Comanche warrior, Naru. Trained as a healer, she hopes to prove her worth as a hunter to her tribe living on the hostile 18th-century North American plains. Dangers, from predatory animals to European woodsmen competing for the same resources, lurk nearby. But the predator-prey dynamic viewers are introduced to changes after the arrival of a member…

Dave Wasserman, the U.S. House editor at The Cook Political Report, has revised his midterm forecast with lower-than-expected gains for the Republican Party. And Democrats maintaining full control of Congress is not out of the question. The Cook Political Report is considered the gold standard among political prognosticators. In May, they forecasted a gain of 20-35 seats for Republicans in the U.S. House. Following last night’s GOP defeat and underperformance in a bellwether and a conservative congressional district, respectively, Cook Political now expects Republicans to gain 10-20 seats, with the real possibility of Democrats maintaining control under Nancy Pelosi if…

NASA has invited the world’s media to watch the results of its first attempt at asteroid deflection. The space agency’s test began last November with the launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft. DART is the culmination of a joint effort by the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) and NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office. The spacecraft will crash land on the small asteroid Dimorphos and attempt to change its trajectory enough that can be measured on Earth. Dimorphos is not on a potential collision course with Earth. Although the likelihood of an…
