Pulling attitude because a cop pulled you over isn’t a great idea. When law enforcement officers perform traffic stops they’re on edge, so anything you can do to not escalate the situation would be a wise move. But some people like this Florida woman think pulling attitude right from the get-go is the way to handle things. She learns right off the bat this Florida trooper isn’t going to take any guff from her. A BMW driver streaming and showing off on social media crashed and killed a pregnant mother. What the trooper said spurred the stop was the woman using her Dodge Charger to cross…

First, get a real muscle car. There’s something extra special about the EcoBoost Mustang crowd. Like Honda Civic and Volkswagen GTI owners, they have a real chip on their shoulder, driven largely by their having four fewer cylinders than a real muscle car possesses. But reality is a cruel teacher sometimes, and that can take on the shape of an Arkansas state trooper pitting such a driver who thinks they can outrun a cruiser. Learn why Reuters believes EVs won’t kill muscle cars. That’s what happens when Trooper Dairren Evans pulls into a gas station behind the Mustang in question after catching the fictitious plate.…

There are many things wrong with this plan. By now you’ve likely heard that California not only wants to make it illegal to buy a gas- or diesel-burning passenger car in the state by 2035, it wants to do the same with over half of heavy trucks. That means in just 12 years the majority of semi-trucks, dump trucks, etc. sold in the state will need to be “zero emissions” or in other words trucks that don’t produce emissions directly. New York City will be the first in the nation to implement the measure. With a green light from the Federal Highway Administration, the state of New York will start charging congestion pricing for motorists looking to enter the Manhattan Central Business District. It’s the first plan of this kind in the U.S. but is something that’s been used elsewhere before as a way to discourage people from driving in certain areas. Still, not everyone is convinced this is a great way to manage any metropolitan traffic flow. These people are heroes. In all the talk about the dangers of police pursuits and the results of not engaging in them, everyone seems to forget that cops can die or get seriously injured. Most law enforcement and their close loved ones are keenly aware of the dangers, although they have their own ways of coping with them. But when a worst-case scenario unfolded recently as Michigan State Police pursued a suspect in Muskegon, it was two bystanders who stepped up and became heroes. Learn how a man purchased a stolen car from a dealership. As they told local news station WXMI, Michael…

It’s time to grow up. We don’t know what the deal is with people getting caught by the police and the first thing they do is beg to call their mommy while they’re getting arrested. It’s a growing trend and one we’re sure cops are already sick of hearing. The latest example comes from Arkansas after a state trooper chased down a suspect in a Honda Accord. See the chaos a car thief caused in Denver when he ran a red light. For whatever reason, the guy driving this Accord decided to not turn on his lights. That’s a great way to get the attention…

This happens all the time. Having your car stolen can be a violating, frustrating experience. Most people don’t fully realize just how dependent they are on their vehicle until it’s suddenly gone, sending their life into a tailspin. While finding out your missing ride has been recovered should be a happy time, for people like a family in San Antonio, Texas it can bring with it more frustration and fines. Check out the stolen cars that are found all over Detroit here. The family’s car was stolen from a parking lot in downtown San Antonio, but little did they know it was taken…

Have you been notified? Thanks to a TikTok challenge and tutorials we’ve found on just about every social media platform out there, plenty of kids are stealing Kias and Hyundais for kicks these days. With the Korean automakers skipping an engine immobilizer, something that’s been standard equipment in virtually every mass-produced vehicle since the turn of the century, anyone can steal one of nine million Kias and Hyundais in the U.S. using a USB charging cord, at least until they’re updated. See the street takeover that shocked Memphis here. Originally, the companies announced the recall back in February as thefts raged in cities across North…

They’re going to move forward on this. The California Air Resources Board (what we lovingly call CARB) has already signed off on a plan that bans new non-hybrid internal combustion engine vehicles from being sold within the state’s boundaries by 2035. Not content with that, California has asked for approval from the Biden administration of this controversial plan, says Reuters. Are these the real abandoned supercars of Dubai? Of course, California is appealing to the EPA for support by asking for a waiver under the Clean Air Act to implement the decree. Under CARB’s plan, annual increases in emissions requirements for new vehicles sold in California…

He got what he deserved. With so many unknown people pouring over the southern border, many are concerned dangerous criminals will be flooding the streets where they live. That’s understandable, and for those who disagree, they should watch this pursuit of a deported felon who had an active warrant for his arrest. Check out Bonnie and Clyde’s legendary car here. Multiple law enforcement agencies jumped into the chase, including Arkansas State Patrol. Likely realizing he was in big trouble, the suspect who thinks he can just stroll back into our country after he’s already been kicked out for committing crimes pushes the SUV he’s driving…
