The Biden administration has sunk to a new low in its anti-gun crusade, reportedly withholding funds from schools that have hunting or archery programs as part of their curriculum. Fox News is reporting the administration โ€œis blocking key federal funding earmarked under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 for schools with hunting and archery programs. This is allegedly happening because the administration may be โ€œmisinterpretingโ€ provisions in the ESEA and last yearโ€™s Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA), as suggested by Texas Sen. John Cornyn and Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina, both Republicans. While we appreciate the…

Several Republican presidential contenders have called for ending birthright citizenship for children born to parents who are in this country illegally. Vivek Ramaswamyโ€”a first-generation American born to Indian immigrant parentsโ€”was the most recent to do so earlier this month during an appearance on CNN. During that appearance, Ramaswamy even suggested that children of illegal immigrants should earn their voting rights through military or community service, or by taking a civics test as immigrants who choose to become American citizens must. Ramaswamy is right: Ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants would make the American immigration system more just and…

The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) raised serious concerns Thursday regarding the portrayal of Hunter Biden’s now infamous – and illegal – handgun purchase by Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin of Maryland’s 8th District. The Committee – chaired by prominent gun rights defender Alan Gottlieb – believes that Congressman Raskin has egregiously mischaracterized the situation, alleging that Biden was a “rich individual exercising his Second Amendment rights” while purportedly failing to disclose his history of drug use on the federal Form 4473 during the purchase process. https://twitter.com/greg_price11/status/1681748873386024961?s=20 โ€œIโ€™m not sure whether to shake my head…

One Bay Area county has declared support for California Governor Gavin Newsom’s latest radical anti-gun proposal. San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa announced his support of Newsom’s plan to add a 28th Amendment to the constitution, stating โ€œCongress canโ€™t fulfill its responsibility of passing common sense gun laws.” If the idea ever came to fruition, it would severely limit the protections that currently exist under the Second Amendment by requiring longer wait times for purchasing firearms, as well as universal background checks. The age for purchasing all firearms would also be raised to 21. Newsom announced his radical proposal via…

President Joe Biden appears more determined than ever to make gun manufacturers vulnerable to frivolous lawsuits in the hopes of bankrupting the firearms industry, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today. On July 4th โ€”a day when the president should have been leading the nation in celebrating its 247th anniversaryโ€”Biden was instead capitalizing on violent crimes over the holiday weekend in an effort to push his gun prohibition agenda. In a statement from the White House, Biden declared, โ€œIt is within our power to once again ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, to require safe…

America’s 48th vice president called on his fellow contenders for the 2024 Republican nomination to come together and back at minimum a 15-week ban on abortions. Pence shared the following remarks with a crowd gathered today for the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Conference. “Some say the Supreme Court returned the abortion issue only to the states, and nothing can be done at the federal level. Others say continuing the fight for life is too risky, blaming the pro-life movement for a poor performance at the ballot box in 2022. But I say we must never shrink from the great…

Former President Donald Trump plans to cut government spending without consulting Congress if he returns to the Oval Office in 2025. In an allegedly forthcoming campaign video reviewed by Semafor, Trump pledges to “use a process known as impoundment to force โ€œevery federal agencyโ€ to reduce spending” according to The Hill. Trump plans to “unilaterally” control the purse strings from the White House by challenging – and possibly getting Congress to overturn – the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 which created the federal budgetary process that is in effect today. Although Trump promised to cut spending during his first term,…

California Governor Gavin Newsomโ€™s proposed 28th Amendment is a blatant attempt to eradicate individual rights from the Constitution, demonstrating just how far the anti-gun-rights mindset is willing to go in an effort to foist its prohibition agenda on the American public. Newsomโ€™s proposal reeks of infringement on Second Amendment rights. He wants gun controls permanently enshrined while claiming these measures โ€˜will respect the countryโ€™s gun-owning tradition protected by the Second Amendment.โ€™ That is so self-contradictory it is laughable. If he truly respected this nationโ€™s tradition of private gun ownership, he wouldnโ€™t attack it by pushing this nonsense. The governor wants…
