ANALYSIS โ A woman holding a controversial sign claims she was physically assaulted by a crowd in New York City.
And it was all caught on cellphone video.
K. Yang, said the incident occurred Sunday in Washington Square Park during a New York City parade.
Yang was carrying a sign in the crowd defending biological woman. The sign also noted terms for women fight used by the transgender rights movement, which have since gone mainstream.
The sign compared theseย names with descriptors like mother, girl and female.
In her tweet Yang said โI was just kicked, hit, pushed, mobbed by dozens of people.โ
In her clip, the smiling mob is seen getting more and more physically aggressive with Yang andย Yang repeatedly yelling for the mob to โstop touchingโ her.
Most were trying to rip her sign away from Yang because, apparently, words on a sign defending women are not allowed.
As things got more heated, one individual knocked the sign from Yang's hands from behind, eliciting cheers.
During a separate event in NYC, the group โSisters of Perpetual Indulgence'ย โ who mock Christian nuns โ were seen. The same groupย sparked a huge backlashย when they were honored by the Los Angeles Dodgers earlier this month.
