Former President Donald Trump is known for being highly litigious and today proves no exception.
The 45th president filed a federal lawsuit against his one-time fixer Michael Cohen, alleging a breach of his attorney-client relationship, unjust enrichment and contract violations.
Trump's legal team filed the 30-page suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
The suit claims Cohen has recently โincreased the frequency and hostility of the illicit actsโ through a โmyriad of public statements, including the publication of two books, a podcast series, and innumerable mainstream media appearances.โ
It alleges that Cohen spread โfalsehoodsโ about Trump while ignoring cease and desist orders.
Per Fox News:
โThis is an action arising from [Cohen's] multiple breaches of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, conversion and breaches of contract by virtue of [Cohen's] past service as [Trump's] employee and attorney,โ the lawsuit states.

It claims Cohen has, in recent months, โincreased the frequency and hostility of the illicit actsโ and โappears to have become emboldened and repeatedly continues to make wrongful and false statementsโ about Trump through various platforms.

A source close to Trump's legal team says the complaint against Michael Cohen โhas nothing to do with the Manhattan DA's lawless and fact-less case and is a totally separate matter.โ
Cohen, in 2018, pleaded guilty to arranging those hush money paymentsโamong other federal chargesโ ahead of the 2016 presidential election to adult film actress Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal, but maintains that Trump directed them.
The news follows Trump's indictment in New York on 34 felony charges concerning allegations he orchestrated a plan with Cohen and National Enquirer publisher David Pecker to help squash politically damaging stories before they became public knowledge.
American Liberty News mentioned at the time:
According to reports, prosecutors said โMr. Trump tried to conceal a conspiracy and undermine the 2016 electionโ with the help of his former attorney, Michael Cohen, and David Pecker, then-CEO of the company that publishes National Enquirer, to capture and kill politically damaging stories. Stories allegedly involving Stormy Daniels, Karen McDougal and a doorman at Trump Tower who claimed Trump fathered a child with a housekeeper.
Manhattan District Attorneyย Alvin Braggย appears to have Pecker's full cooperation. However, like Michael Cohen, legal commentator Dan Abrams noted that Pecker falls far short of having an unassailable character.

The problem I see with Trump suing Cohen is that now Cohen can create some kind of fund me account and get all kinds of money laundering money from Soros type puppets.
Would that enrichment just be more money for Trump if he wins?
