High-profile House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has reportedly decided on a potential 2024 Senate run.
Lauren Hitt, Ocasio-Cortez's spokesperson, told Politico Sunday that the representative will not throw her hat into the ring in 2024.
โShe is not planning to run for Senate in 2024,โ Hitt said. โShe is not planning to primary [Kirsten] Gillibrand.โ

When AOC was asked about the possibility of a future Senate run, she replied, โdon't ask me that question,โ before telling the publication to โprint thatโ response.ย
So far, Sen. Gillibrand is essentially running unopposed as no prominent challenger has since been announced. Reps. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., and Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., also told Politico they do not plan to enter the race.
Ocasio-Cortez remains one of the most recognizable members of the House of Representatives and has $5 million on hand to spend on future campaigns, according to Fox News.ย On numerous occasions, the progressive lawmaker has teased at pursuing higher office in the not-so-distant future.
The far-left Democrat has been encouraged in some circles to seek higher office, some have even floated her as a future White House contender.
โThere's a world where I'm here for a long time in this seat, in this position. There's a world where I'm not an elected official anymore. There's a world whereโฆ I may be in higher office,โ she said to [Dana Bash].

Oh yeah, the Senate would never be the same with her there. Blah Blah Blah , hours of it !! My heads already screaming !! If she actually said anything useful instead of coming up with new big words to impress herself , I wouldnโt see her as waste of air and space
I would not nominate this woman for sewer sanitation squad, nor would I trust her in the job. I pity the foolish electorate who would put such a wicked, delusional creature in office.
