Nearly two-thirds of Iowans voted to enshrine gun rights in their state constitution during last month’s midterms.
The passage of the amendment last month cemented the right to keep bear arms, and also preemtively acts as a major barrier to future gun control attempts.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem Eliminates Conceal Carry Permit Fees
Back in March, South Dakota governor Kristi Noem signed Senate Bill 212 into law, repealing the authority of government entities from county sheriff’s offices to the secretary of state to collect fees for both initial issuance and renewal of concealed carry permits.
