The Canadian government is demanding a retired Navy SEAL and internet personality take down a video of the world's longest sniper shot taken by a former Canadian service member.
What's Ottawa's problem, you ask? According to retired Navy SEAL and podcaster Shawn Ryan, it goes beyond the Canadian Armed Forces' claim that Ryan disclosed sensitive information. In a tweet, Ryan said he never intended to publish classified information. Still, he believes the Canadian military's cease-and-desist letter is to prevent former counterterrorism sniper Dallas Alexander from explaining he was fired for refusing the COVID vaccine.
Alexander fatally shot an ISIS fighter in 2017 with a 2.2-mile shot. The story became legendary, but Alexander's name was not mentioned in the original reports.
The Blaze reports:
Ryan posted an explanation on Twitter, in part saying โI want to be perfectly clear, I am not an ANTI VAX individual. I believe in freedom of choice and in freedom of speech. This is why I cut anything that could have possibly been considered โclassified' from part 2 of the episode.โ
Ryan also posted theย cease-and-desist letterย sent from the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM), which stated โyour podcast series contained information or material that has been properly classified and protected, and which is sensitive information such that its public release is injurious to Canadian national security, national deference, and international relations.โ
It continues on theย second page, โ[Canadian Armed Forces/Department of National Defense] is willing to work with you to review your podcast episodes โฆ to enable you to publish versions that do not contain classified information.โ
Alexander spoke out against and refused Canadian vaccine and mask mandates and was fired from the armed forces.

Tell the rotten to the core Socialist Canadian Trudeau regime to shove it. They want some, come get some.
Rudely tell Trudeau to stuff it!
You mean Justin Castreau?
It’s pronounced “Turd-dough”. Come to think of it, probably ought to be spelled that way, too.
Canada’s military, like the United States’ military, is in serious need of a woke enema.
There’s no such thing as a socialist utopia. They’re nothing more than power mongering countries that’ll eventually be total dictatorships. As Vladimir Lenin once stated “socialism is just the first step to communism.”
